Finnish company Nokia launched two new phones, Asha 205 and Nokia 206. The Asha 205 and Nokia 206 are the first mobile phones equipped with Nokia's exclusive feature Slam.

Slam enables mobile phone users to share (transfer) multi-media files like videos and photos instantly without having to pair the devices. Slam is claimed to be compatible with "most" Nokia phones.

"The latest Nokia devices give super-special consumers new ways to express their personalities through design, color and innovative new features like Slam," said Timo Toikkanen, Executive Vice President, Mobile Phones, Nokia.

Asha 205, a QWERTY based phone, is the latest in the Asha mobile series to hit the market. It also includes a dedicated Facebook button for easy access to the social networking site.
