Amrinder Gill's "Angrej" continued its dream run at the overseas box office in its third week, pushing aside the new Punjabi film "Ramta Jogi" in the international business chart.

"Ramta Jogi", which was released in theatres on 14 August, forced "Angrej" out of cinema halls in key international markets like the USA and Canada. It also snatched some screens from the latter in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

But the opening weekend business of "Ramta Jogi" was not even 10% of the third week collection of "Angrej". The movie has grossed approximately $4,205 (Rs 2.74 lakh) from 33 screens at the overseas box office in the opening weekend.

"Angrej", released in 80 cinema halls in six international markets on 31 July, saw its screen count reduced to 24 in its third week. Yet, the movie has done superb business.

"Angrej" raked in $49,389 (Rs 32.27 lakh) at the overseas box office in its third weekend. The movie grossed $1,905,448 (Rs 12.45 crore) in the international markets in 17 days. It is expected to cross the $2-million mark in the third week. It has become the second highest grossing Punjabi film overseas in 2015 after "Sardaar Ji".

Here is the area-wise breakup of box office collection of "Angrej" and "Ramta Jogi"; the numbers are based on the Bollywood Hungama report.
