Prithviraj Sukumaran's latest film "Anarkali" has been receiving positive response from the audience and critics alike. The Sachy directorial has now helped Prithviraj regain the top spot at the Kerala box office and he is definitely the next superstar after Mammootty and Mohanlal in the Malayalam entertainment industry.
Remember the days when the Kerala audience heavily criticised Prithviraj Sukumaran, the son of late actor Sukumaran for being arrogant? Now, the same audience is lauding the actor for his remarkable performances in three back-to-back hits, which have been getting tremendous response. He is also appreciated for selecting good scripts, that too without any monotonous content.
Even though his films "Ivide" and "Double Barrel" failed to make a mark at the box office this year, the recent releases "Ennu Ninte Moideen", "Amar Akbar Anthony" and "Anarkali" have helped him find the top spot at the Kerala box office.
Not just that, Prithviraj is enjoying a rare feat that not many actors have experienced in their entire life. He is definitely ruling the box office now as his three films are competing each other by running successfully in theatres in India.
"Ennu Ninte Moideen", which tells the real life love story of Kanchana and Moideen, has already completed 65 days of its theatrical run by collecting more than Rs 37 crore from across the world. This was Prithviraj's first solo blockbuster in an acting career spanning 13 years.
The multi-starrer "Amar Akbar Anthony", the debut directorial venture of Nadirshah, has been running successfully for one month in India and abroad. The film also has Indrajith Sukumaran and Jayasurya in the lead roles.
