Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran and Jayasurya-starrer "Amar Akbar Anthony" is all set to complete 50 days of its theatrical run at the Kerala box office.

The comedy entertainer, released on 16 October, has grossed more than Rs 28.50 crore in 45 days, tweeted Cine Shore.

Meanwhile, as part of the 50-day celebrations, the makers have released a special poster of the film that features the childhood photos of Prithviraj, Indrajith, Jayasurya and Namitha Pramod. The poster has already gone viral on social media.

The film revolves around three young middle-class people staying in a colony in Kochi. Though they spend a lot of time together partying and enjoying, the trio does not bother taking up family responsibilities. 

The fun family entertainer is the directorial debut of comedian Nadirshah, and deals with child trafficking, one of most important social issues these days.

Scripted by Bibin and Vishunu, "Amar Akbar Anthony" also has Srinda Arhaan, KPAC Lalitha, Kalabhavan Shajon, Baby Meenakshi, Shafique Rahiman, V K Sreeraman, Bindu Panicker, Abu Salim, Sasi Kalinga, Saju Navodaya and many others in its cast.
