Visakhapatnam, Oct 26 (ANI): After surviving cyclone Phailin, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha now is in flood crisis. Incessant rainfall triggered a rise in floodwaters on Saturday in Andhra Pradesh's port city Visakhapatnam, inundating houses, clogging roads and paralysing normal life. Non-stop rains, which pushed up the volume of the water in many rivers, continued to lash Srikakulam district of the province for the last few days. Five people were killed by the floods in Odisha and seven in the neighbouring state of Bihar. The death toll from Phailin now stands at 33.
