Zync Unveils 6 Budget Dual-SIM PhonesFacebook

Zync Global Private Limited, the Indian tablet maker has rolled out six budget dual-SIM feature phones, namely, Zync C18, Zync C21, Zync C22, Zync C24, Zync C27 and the Zync C30 in India with a price tag ranging between  ₹1,399 and  ₹2,499.

Zync was a part of budget Android makers like Micromax, BSNL, Mercury, Milagrow, Karbonn and Wishtel for a long time, and now the company has shifted the focus to mobile phone segment. The company's debut into the new segment with six phones aims to set new benchmarks in the budget mobile phone market.

"This is the first time we have entered the mobile phone category. With the mobile segment growing by leaps and bounds and recording sales of around 200 million units in 2012, we felt this was the right time to expand our horizon and enter a new territory. With the launch of these six new cell phones, we aim to bring a powerful and dependable device with great features at a very affordable price point," said Amul Mittal, co-founder of Zync Global.

Zync 18, the low-end model is priced at  ₹ 1,399 and sports a 1.8-inch screen with 128x160 pixel resolution. All the six feature phones are available in black and red colors. The C series mobile phones pack common features like 4GB micro SD card, a 1.3-megapixel camera with video recording, FM radio, dual LED torch light, a music player and built in speaker. Besides this, the phones also support connectivity features like GPRS, EDGE and USB. The budget phones support English and Hindi languages.

The middle-ranged phones such as Zync C21, Zync C22, Zync C24 and Zync C27 are priced at  ₹1990 and the Zync C30 is available at ₹ 2,499.
