ZTE Launches Nubia Z9 Max, Z9 Mini with 64-bit Class Snapdragon Octa-Core SoC; Price, Specifications

Telecommunication equipment-maker ZTE has launched a new Nubia Z9 series Max and Mini smartphones in China.

ZTE's new flagship smartphone Nubia Z9 Max sports a Titanium frame with Aluminum alloy cover on the rear-side and to provide a glossy finish, the company has put glass sheet, rendering the phone's back un-removable. On the front side, it features a 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 shield.

Under the hood, it houses the latest 64-bit class Snapdragon 810 series Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), Android 5.0 Lollipop, 3GB DDR4 RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2,900mAh battery.

On the other hand, Nubia Z9 Mini, as the name says, it is compact version of the above model. It too features metallic-frame on the edges, but features sturdy plastic case on the back side. It sports 5.0-inch full HD display and run on the Snapdragon 615 Octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2,900mAh battery.

Both the devices house same 16mp camera on the rear-side with LED flash, Sony IMX234 Exmor RS sensor , f/2.0 aperture and a 8mp front camera with f/2.4 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle picture capture feature. Only difference is that the phablet boast 4K video-recording ability, whereas the mini-model can take only full HD videos.

ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and Z9 Mini Price and Release Date Details:

According to the local media house Anzhuo, ZTE Nubia Z9 Max costs ¥2,499 (around $402/€372/₹25,200), whereas the Nubia Z9 Mini comes with the price-tag of ¥1,499 (around $241/€223/₹18,100) and is expected to sale on 2 April in China.
