ZTE expanded its smartphone portfolio on Thursday during an event in Beijing, China, adding two new premium smartphones to the existing Blade series. ZTE Blade A910 and the Blade V7 Max offer a premium spec-sheet at an affordable price point.

Both new handsets come in two variants with difference in storage and RAM capacity. The Blade V7 Max, which is the higher-end version, with 3GB RAM costs ¥1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,400) and the 4GB RAM variant is priced at ¥1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,500). The Blade A910 is the budget device, costing ¥1,299 (approx. Rs. 13,300) for the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage model and ¥1,499 (approx. Rs. 15,300) for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, Phone Radar reported.

In terms of specifications, the Blade V7 Max is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MiFavor UI and a 3,000mAh battery. The handset features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass, a 16MP primary camera with PDAF, LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera.

Both of the Blade V7 Max variants have 32GB standard storage and come with microSD card support up to 128GB. ZTE Blade V7 Max has features like USB Type-C and a fingerprint scanner and supports 4G LTE bandwidths.

As for the Blade A910, a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display embraces the smartphone and has a 13MP primary shooter with PDAF and LED flash. The front camera is equipped with an 8MP sensor with 88-degree wide-angle lens and smart facial recognition feature. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735 processor clocking speeds at 1.3GHz and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with MiFavor UI on top.

ZTE Blade A910 does not have a fingerprint scanner, but it adds NFC as an additional feature that is missing from the Blade V7 Max. There are dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE support, a microSD card slot (up to 128GB) and a 2,540mAh battery under the hood.

ZTE did not reveal the international pricing or availability of the handsets during the event. Both handsets come in black, silver and gold colour options and are currently limited to the Chinese market.
