After Kangana Ranaut opted out of upcoming movie "Divine Lovers," Zareen Khan has reportedly been roped in as the female lead of the film. Latest reports say that Zareen has replaced Kangana to play the role opposite Irrfan Khan.

Zareen will undergo two months of training for the role and Irrfan himself will train the actress, according to Deccan Chronicle. Kangana had earlier collaborated with director Sai Kabir for "Revolver Rani" and the duo were supposed to work together again for "Divine Lovers."

However, that did not happen and Sai had announced that he would launch a new actress as the leading lady of the movie. "Kangana Ranaut is no more a part of my film 'Divine Lovers.' I am launching a new girl opposite the leading man Irrfan Khan. It's going to be a surprise for everyone. The new girl is more suitable for the role. I can't say anything else," Sai had told the daily earlier.

Zareen is quite new in the industry compared to Kangana but the former has worked in a number of Bollywood movies, including her debut movie "Veer" and her last release "Hate Story 3." There were also reports that popular Punjabi actress Parul Gulati would play the female lead in "Divine Lovers." Nevertheless, there has not been any official confirmation on the leading actress of the film.

Meanwhile, Kangana will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon," which also features Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, "Rangoon" is apparently set on the backdrop of World War II and Kangana will be seen playing the character of an actress in the movie.
