Yuvraj Singh's wife Hazel Keech's name change irks Yograj Singh; slams family guru

Yuvraj Singh's wife Hazel Keech changed her name to Gurbasant Kaur after marriage and that apparently irked the cricketer's father Yograj Singh.

It has been reported that Yuvraj's family has high faith on a spiritual advisor named Baba Ram Singh, on whose suggestion Hazel was asked to change her name. While the newly-married bride obliged to it, Yograj Singh slammed the guru and termed the act of name change as "nonsense."

"What is this nonsense? For me Hazel would remain Hazel only. Change of name will not change the identity of Hazel. This is all this so called self-styled Baba's nonsensical talks. I believe in only one God," Bollywoodlife quoted Yuvraj's father as saying.

Yuvraj's parents are divorced. Yograj said that he did not attend Yuvraj and Hazel's marriage only to avoid the same god-man.

"Yuvraj's mother and our other family members had attended the wedding. I didn't attend Yuvraj's wedding because I don't believe in this talk of Baba. Such talks can't change the fortunes of people. For me, she is Mrs. Hazel Yuvraj Singh. I don't take this suggestion of changing names seriously," he added.

In other news, Yuvraj's sister-in-law Akanksha Sharma, who was a contestant in Bigg Boss 10, had labelled series of allegations on Yuvraj's mother. Akanksha, who was married to Zoravar Singh, had alleged that her mother-in-law used to force her to have sex with her husband in spite of the fact that they did not share the emotional bond that a married couple should.

Akanksha and Zoravar had stayed together for four months, but the two had never been physical with each other, the former Bigg Boss contestant claimed.
