Yuri On Ice is coming closer to its end after featuring the most beautiful performances, and this is by far one of the most captivating anime sports shows.

After days of practice and competition, the heroes finally take a break and it's interesting to see how these characters live their lives apart from skating. This episode voices a lot of Victor's thoughts, which the viewers don't get often. Although his emotions are revealed slowly in each episode, Victor is still a man of mystery. What does he really want with Yuri? Why did he quit skating and become a coach all of a sudden?

Victor's motives have always been unclear. However, his love for Yuri seems to be his main driving force. Their relationship is portrayed as a strong friendship between master and student. But the fans can feel the undercurrents of love.

On the other hand, Yuri's adoration for Victor grows as he buys matching rings for both of them. He presents it to him in front of a cathedral with the church bells and choir singing in the background. It is undoubtedly a proposal setting, although Yuri seems completely dense, even about his own actions. Even though Victor, later makes it clear that they are engaged, it is still difficult to understand whether he is joking about it or not.

In the end, the fans get a short insight on Victor's thoughts, that he wouldn't feel so motivated if he didn't quit coaching Yuri. This answers the question as to why he quit, maybe the consecutive wins were getting monotonous and setting on a different course of coaching a loser into a winner would give him a chance to learn and grow, not just in skating but give him a new perspective on life, taking him to the next level.

And thus, from episode 11 starts the event the fans have been waiting for. The events that will decide who wins. Discussions and debates over who will win are all over the internet and it will be a tough competition.
