Earlier this month, YU Televentures Ltd, Micromax's subsidiary, postponed Yutopia's 7 December launch to 17th, but promised to announce something special on that day.

Back then, nobody had any inclination on what YU's statement meant. Now, the company's new Twitter message has hinted there will be not one but two devices getting unveiled.

The poster shows two devices placed one on right and another on the left side with a message in the middle, which reads -- "Beast is not coming alone". They seem to be of same length indicating both will be smartphones as Yutopia is confirmed to make its debut on Thursday.

There is no word on what the mystery device will feature. But if we have to make an educated guess, it might be a low-end model of the Yutopia. We have seen rivals such as Xiaomi launching normal smartphone along with top-end Prime models at the same time, so it is possible that Yu might have taken a leaf out of its Chinese peer's marketing strategy to unveil two variants of Yutopia.

That said, nothing is set in stone to believe YU will launch two Yutopia models. This is just pure speculation based on our intuition. To know the real facts, we just need to wait for few more days.
