Fans will witness many twists and turns in the next five episodes of "The Young and the Restless" as secrets will be revealed after tragedy strikes the residents of Genoa City.

The 16 February episode will pick up where the previous one left off. In the previous episode, we saw Neil reveal he has regained his eyesight. Spoilers for the upcoming week show that Neil will confront Devon and Hilary, following which their affair will be revealed to everyone.

But before the scene gets intense, their plane crashes and "Neil's family members find themselves in a life-and-death situation," reported Soap Central. Previews for the upcoming episodes hint at Lily's life being in jeopardy and Neil "must face what is important to him, and he takes an emotional and complex journey."

"The Young and the Restless" has been teasing the death of a major character for a while now, and this week will finally see one character bidding adieu for good. While Lily is a possibly candidate based on the promos, Daytime Confidential believes it is one of the male leads who will die and has listed Nick, Dylan, Fen, Austin, Michael, Kevin, Victor, Joe and Neil as possible candidates.

Meanwhile, fans are predicting Austin's demise, as many believe he is totally expendable. "I think it's Austin personally. I can't see them killing off anyone of importance. Austin's death will pave the way for Summer X Kyle (recast)…plus give Hunter King something meaty to do instead of just crying and whining every week," one fan wrote.

As for the other characters, here is what the upcoming week has in store for them.

"Adam makes a dangerous decision and is closer to winning his wife back; Lauren receives some news that is unexpected and shocking; ; Ashley tells Jack her plan to get their perfume into the stores before Victor; Phyllis goes over the edge and loses her temper with Jack," reported Soap Central.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Monday through Friday at 12.30 pm on CBS.
