"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is at a crucial juncture, and to lighten the current mood, the makers have thrown in an interesting performance by Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Shagun (Anita Hassanandani).

According to a Filmibeat report, the act won't be forced. It will help Shagun hide from Ashok (Sangram Singh), who has been trying everything in his might to unmask her big fat lie. Dressed in Maharashtrian attire, both Shagun and Ishita will be seen dancing to the tunes of "Pinga" ("Bajirao Mastani"). It will add some freshness to the ongoing track.

The original version featuring Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra was met with heavy criticism. Both Mastani and Kashibai's costumes were frowned upon and the release of the video was followed by strong open letters. Here's hoping "YHM" doesn't land itself in similar trouble.

In other news, during the cat-and-mouse game between Shagun and Ashok, she will be shot after which she will join a group of dancers to throw goons off trail. Another interesting bit is, the show will reportedly take a leap after Ishita risks her life to save Shagun.

Absolute India News had reported how post-leap the kids — Aditya (Gautam Ahuja) and Ruhi (Ruhaanika Dhawan) — will be show to be fully-grown adults. So, will Ashok be able to expose Shagun or will this endless chase amount to nothing? Only time will tell.
