'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actor Karan Patel was linked to five TV stars before he married Ankita Bhargava

Karan Patel is a taken man but was quite a player in his younger days, at least that's what reports suggest. Kamya Punjabi happens to be one of his more popular girlfriends, but the actor was linked with four other stars from the TV industry.  

His and Payal Rohatgi's working relationship soured when the latter branded him as "rapist" claiming he tried getting cozy with her on "Survivor India – The Ultimate Battle," BollywoodLife reports. But the "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor was quick to rubbish the claims saying there was no point talking about the controversy as people knew the accusations were false.

Interestingly, there were conjectures of him hitting on one of the other participants of the adventure reality show, Priyanka Bassi, but that too was refuted by both parties. "I don't know who is spreading such rumours. Priyanka and I are just good friends," he had told India Forums a couple of years ago.  

Pratyusha Banerjee is another woman Karan was associated with, but only for a brief period of time. In 2014, there was a strong buzz that she had developed a liking for him, which didn't travel the distance because Kamya stepped in making sure she didn't have anything to do with her then boyfriend. However, the rumours were quashed by both the ladies. They said they were great friends and have no reason to get nasty with each other.

Sure none of the names have ever come clean about having a fling, but the relationship he shared with "Nach Baliye 3" partner Amita Chandekar should have been acknowledged. Although Amita had to say the nicest of things about Karan, the boyfriend told The Times of India she was never his girlfriend.

Karan is now married to Ankita Bhargava and the couple is all set to celebrate their first anniversary May 3.
