On Sunday's Yaaron Ki Baarat episode, which was telecast on November 13, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma listed out reasons why they have been such good friends for over eight years now, recalling the times they first met.
While Shah Rukh remembers Anushka from the day she shot her first scene for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, the leading lady had an interesting anecdote to share.
The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress revealed that it wasn't on the sets of RNBDJ that she first saw SRK. Anushka was queueing up to walk the ramp when the superstar entered wearing a perfume that was hard to ignore. He, along with Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal and Farah Khan, were promoting Om Shanti Om.
While the Yaaron Ki Baarat team was taking a break, Anushka enquired what scent Shah Rukh was wearing. Khan then handed over a bottle of the cologne to her; she read the name and returned it to the actor when he said it was for her and kissed her forehead, Mid-Day reported.
Speaking at the chat show, Shah Rukh also shared an interesting story from his initial days of stardom. He was shooting for Subhash Ghai's Pardes in USA when his wife, Gauri Khan, suffered a miscarriage. On his way back to India, a very sweet but stubborn fan ran after him at the airport for an autograph.
He was in a hurry and didn't want to miss his flight as his wife needed him. But, the fan wouldn't give up and when finally Khan got around to signing an autograph, she said: "I love you, Akshay Kumar." SRK didn't want to disappoint her and so signed as Akshay Kumar and even did a Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast dance for her.
