Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has started selling their products through its official Indian site.

The Mi-famed brand used to sell their products exclusively via Indian e-commerce site Flipkart. And now the company has launched a store to sell accessories in India.

Though the official site is not selling any smartphones including Redmi 2, Redmi Note 4G or Mi 4 , Xiaomi is selling their Mi branded earphones, Power Bank and smartphone cases through the site. However, all the Xiaomi smartphones are still available only on Flipkart including MI 4, Redmi Note 4G and the newly launched Redmi 2 smartphone and Mi Pad tablet.

Debuted in July 2014, Xiaomi has sold over one million smartphones in the country. But, several Xiaomi products like Mi Note smartphone, Mi Android Wear wearable and Yi Action camera are yet to be launched in the country.

Earlier Xiaomi's International Vice President Hugo Barra asserted that the company will start selling Xiaomi products via their own e-commerce portal and will also be available on Flipkart. The company is also on its way to start making smartphones in the country that is likely to begin in a year or two.

The flash sale of Mi Pad tablet, Redmi 2 budget 4G smartphone and Mi 4 has been slated for 24 March via Flipkart.
