Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi will reportedly roll out a cheapest Android handset soon.

Priced at 399 YUAN (₹4,008 approximately), the untitled smartphone will be the cheapest available handset with 720p display featuring LTE support, according to a report.

For making this cheapest handset, Xiaomi will be using a not so known chipset maker Leadcore's LC1860 SoC. As per the reports, LC1860 SoC will be based on 28nm chipset that comprises of a Cortex A7 CPU running at 2GHz and a Mali T268GPU.

LC1860 is capable of powering a 2K display, 1080p video capturing at 60 frame-per-seconds and can also provide 4G LTE network support. It will also be featuring 1GB RAM.

As of now, there is no official confirmation on the camera specifications, in-built memory or aesthetics of this upcoming smartphone.

According to chipset information, this device is sure to feature Android KitKat 4.4.4 operating system with a miui garnishing.

Meanwhile, the Chinese company has also started developing the second generation of Xiaomi Note phablets.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, the Android smartphone is likely to feature Snapdragon 615 chipset and 2GB RAM. The Snapdragon 615 is an eight core Soc, capable of 64 bit computing process, so it is quite sure that the manufacturer will feature Android Lollipop 5.0 operating system to get the best out of it.

The device will also boast a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p resolution and a huge 3,500 mAh battery. Though there is no relevant information on the camera availability, it is expected to feature a 13MP main camera to make it an all round package. Redmi Note 2 is likely to be priced at 1499 Yuan (₹15100/$245, approximately)

Xiaomi is also working on a GoPro like camera, which is worth ₹10,000. Though Xiaomi has not yet announced Redmi Note's availability in India, Xiaomi fans expect that Mi4 and Redmi Note will appear together soon in the Indian market.
