After successfully hosting the Redmi 1S Flipkart flash sale, Xiaomi announced on Tuesday, 23 December, that the much-awaited Redmi Note 4G model will go on sale in India next week.
The company confirmed the news via official Facebook page.
"Mi fans, Redmi Note 4G will be available for the first time on Dec 30, 2PM!! Registration for the sale starts at 6PM today," reads the Xiaomi Facebook page.
However, there is no word on how much units will be up for grabs in the next week's flash sale.
For the uninitiated, Redmi Note 4G houses 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 series quad-core SoC (System on Chip) with Adreno 305 graphics engine, whereas the other features are pretty much similar to the 3G model.

It sports 5.5-inch HD IPS screen and run on the Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v5.0 powered 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB) and a 3,100mAh battery.
Prospective buyers can log on to Flipkart account (HERE) to register for the 30 December Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G flashsale. The registration service will go live on 23 December 6pm on Tuesday and will last till 29 December mid-night 23:59 pm.
