Xiaomi Mi4 (LTE) gets Windows 10 Mobile ROM [How to instal]

As promised, Xiaomi, in collaboration with Microsoft (Windows Insider programme) has released the much-awaited Window 10 Mobile OS to the flagship Mi 4 LTE.

With the announcement, Xiaomi Mi 4 (LTE) becomes the first non-Microsoft device to receive the Windows 10 Mobile OS ROM.

It is available via downloadable file, which can only be installed manually.

Here's how to flash Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile on Xiaomi Mi 4 (LTE):

Step 1: Download 'MiFlash20150601.zip' file on to your PC

[Note: In order to download, users are required to sign in to EN.MIUI forum, HERE and Windows Insider program, HERE]

Step 2: After downloading the file, open the package transfer to folder easily accessible on desktop. In that, double-click the 'MiFlash20150601.exe' to initiate installation procedure.

[Note: In the initial phase, a Window security message pops up saying- "Windows cant verify the Driver". Just ignore it and press – 'Install this driver software anyway (I)' button]

Step 3: Once the installation is complete, tap – 'Finish' button. MiFlash tool short-cut will come on the desktop. (If you can find the short-cut, you can search it in the 'all programs' list)

Step 4: Connect the Xiaomi Mi 4 LTE device to the computer and open the MiFlash tool. This will guide users on how to flash Windows 10 Mobile OS on to your device.
