It was earlier reported that Xiaomi Mi 5c would be released on November 30 before speculations surfaced that it had been rescheduled to December 6. However, that didn't happen either, leaving Xiaomi fans in dark.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is yet to announce the release date of Mi 5c, a budget version of the original flagship, but it appears like it will be unveiled soon, most probably before the end of this month.
Now, the device has been listed on Chinese online retailer Tmall, exposing key specifications, according to TheAndroidSoul. The device is seen in a metal body with a 1080p display, an octa-core 2.2GHz processor, a 32GB internal memory, and a 3GB RAM.
It is also reported that Xiaomi Mi 5c sports a 5.5-inch full HD display, runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI 8.0 operating system, and mounts a 12MP main camera and an 8MP front-snapper.
The device is expected to come with a price tag of 1,500 Yuan (around $216 / Rs 14,619) or lesser.
