The long rumoured Xiaomi Mi5 may finally see the light of day very soon, if the new report from China is to be believed.
Popular Weibo spy, @KJuma has leaked an alleged teaser of the Xiaomi Mi5 hinting that the flagship smartphone launch is imminent. In the poster, we see a numerical 5 graphically enlarged with a caption -- "Are you ready". A finger-print impression can also be seen, which indicates that the phone will come with biometric technology like Apple iPhones and Samsung Galaxy S series. The news comes just days after Xiaomi Mi5 was spotted at AnTuTu benchmarking site. It reportedly scored an impressive 73,075 points, thanks to MediaTek's new powerful ten-core based Helio X20 series SoC (System on Chip).
Xiaomi Mi5 is also said to sport a 5.2-inch QHD (2,560 x1,440p) display with Gorilla Glass 4 shield, finger-print sensor and ships with 4GB RAM, 16mp main camera, 13mp snapper on the front and a 3,000mAh battery.
Rumour has it that the Chinese company might also unveil dual-edge curved display based phone dubbed as Mi Edge along with Mi 5 in October.
