Xiaomi will officially launch the flagship Mi 5 in India in just a few hours from now.

The company will kick start the Xiaomi Mi 5 launch event at 3:00 p.m. in New Delhi. It has also started a dedicated webpage to stream the entire program online so the fans all over the country can catch all the action live.

At the event, the company is expected to announce the availability and price details of the Xiaomi Mi 5 and also reveal whether it will be launching the top-end Mi 5 Pro in India or not.

As far specifications are concerned, the new Xiaomi Mi5 series will come in three variants housing different storage and CPU configuration. The high-end variant dubbed as the Mi 5 Pro comes with Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage.

The other two models ship with 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820+3GB+32GB and 1.8GHz Snapdragon+3GB RAM and 64GB storage combination.

Other specifications remain the same in all the three models. They come with 5.15-inch full HD display with finger-print sensor at the bottom, which also doubles up as the home button, latest Android Marshmallow OS based MIUI v7.0, 16MP Sony IMX298 camera, 4MP snapper on the front and a 3,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
