Xiaomi's newly-launched Mi 4i has received a massive response in India.

The company (via Twitter) has confirmed that it received a record 3 lakh plus registration for Xiaomi Mi 4i within 4 days of its launch. It is all set for its first ever flash sale on Flipkart on 30 April.

The overwhelming reception from the sub-continent public is understandable as it is the most feature-rich smartphone in the sub-₹13,000 price range.

Xiaomi Mi 4i sports 5.0-inch full HD IPS screen with Sharp / JDI OGS (One Glass Solution) full lamination and it is the company's first device run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

Under the hood, it comes packed with the 2^nd generation 1.65GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Series Octa-core (1.7GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A53 + 1.0GHz quad-core A53) CPU, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and high-capacity 3120 mAh battery that can run the phone for 1.5 days under normal usage.

Xiaomi's original flagship smartphone Mi4 received a lukewarm response, but its affordable variant Mi 4i is expected to stir up another storm in the India's mid-range smartphone category just like Mi3 did last year, and this will certainly boost the morale of the company.
