Xiaomi Mi 4i Flipkart Flash Sale 2.0 to Kick off on 7 May

Second round of the Xiaomi Mi 4i flash sale is all set to kick off on 7 May in India.

Xiaomi's e-commerce affiliate Flipkart has confirmed to host the Mi 4i flash sale on Thursday at 2pm. Prospective buyers who are not yet registered on Flipkart can still apply till 11:59pm on 6 May HERE.

As of now, there is no word on how many Xiaomi Mi 4i units will be available tomorrow. Last week, 40,000 units got sold out in 15 seconds, so we expect the same on 7 May.

In order to increase your chances of getting your hands on the elusive Xiaomi Mi 4i, users are advised to log on to their respective Flipkart accounts, couple of hours before the sale kicks off. And also make sure to keep your credit/debit card details near you so that you can complete the transaction within permissible time or else the device will taken off and passed on to other eligible buyers.

For the uninitiated, Xiaomi Mi 4i sports a 5.0-inch full HD screen and run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS (with MIUI) backed by the second generation Snapdragon 615 Octa-core SoC, Adreno 405 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage capacity and high-capacity 3120mAh battery which can power the phone for close 1.5 days.

In a related development, Xiaomi has released a new update to Mi 4i in India. The new update (build number: MIUI v6.5.3.0.LXIMICD) is said to be a massive 806MB in size. It is not a major update, rather a software patch to fix glitches found in the current version.
