Chinese consumer electronics major Xiaomi kicked off the company's three day "Mi 2nd Anniversary" sale in India on July 20.
"We are truly excited to be celebrating the second birthday of Mi India. We want to thank everyone who has been a part of this journey. Mi India has received an incredible amount of love and support for all of our products starting with Mi 3 to the recently-launched Redmi Note 3, Mi 5 and Mi Max. The continued success of all these products has helped us become an integral part of fabric of India. We could not have asked for more. As we continue our India journey, we promise to introduce even more high-quality, disruptive products in the market to bring innovation to everyone," Manu Jain, India Head, Xiaomi, said in a statement.
On the first day, Xiaomi announced three new products -- 10,000mAh Mi power bank (Rs. 1,299), Mi Capsule earphone (Rs. 999) and Mi In-ear headphone Pro Gold (Rs. 1,799).
Besides that, the company has slashed the prices of a couple of smartphones. The Mi 5 price has been reduced to Rs.22,999 from Rs. 24,999, whereas the Mi 4 has got a price-cut of Rs. 4,000, taking the price down to Rs.10,999. Even Mi Bluetooth speakers can be grabbed for Rs. 1,999, Rs 700 less the original price. This offer is valid on Flipkart and mi.com/in.
Xiaomi is hosting a special flash sale at 2:00 p.m., wherein it is giving away 10 Mi 5 and 100 20,000mAh Mi power bank units for just Re. 1.
The company is also offering discounts and vouchers exclusively for Mi Store app users. This will be valid till July 22.
