The Indian arm of the popular smartphone maker, Xiaomi, is reportedly planning to slash the price of Redmi Note 4G on Tuesday.
Xiaomi India teased fans on Facebook on 29 June that the company will announce "jaw dropping note-worthy" details on 30 June. It has asked fans to write their guesses in the comments section below regarding what the company may be announcing on Tuesday, further urging users to share and tag their friends on the post. One lucky participant will stand a chance to win a free Mi series product on 30 June.
"It's Note-worthy to stay tuned tomorrow for a jaw-dropping catch ;-). Make a guess what it might be in the comments below, and tag a few friends to join in the fun too! One lucky person will walk away with a Mi product tomorrow. Contest ends 30th June 10am," the post read.
Most of contestants are predicting that Xiaomi may release Flagship Mi Note series phablet, which was unveiled in China in January this year. But, we believe the company is likely to reduce the price of Redmi Note 4G as Xiaomi is slated to announce the second generation Redmi Note soon.
