Xiaomi became a household name in India when it introduced its budget smartphone, the Redmi 1s at a low price two years ago. The company has consolidated its position in the country over the years by releasing a series of handsets, and it has launched three devices – the Redmi Note 3, Mi 5 and Mi Max – so far.

The Chinese technology giant has released three devices in India so far, and more devices like the Redmi Note 4 and Mi 5s are likely to be launched in the next few years.

Here is a complete list and details of Xiaomi devices released in first half of 2016 in India:

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

The device is said to have done exceptionally well in India and its home country China. It comes in two variants – one with a 16GB internal memory and 2GB RAM priced at Rs. 9,999, and the other with a 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM priced at Rs. 11,999. Its storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card and sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density).

Under the hood, the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, an Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based MIUI 7.0, a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash, a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, and a 4,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi Mi 5

The Mi 5 was released in April this year. The device comes in three variants but only the 32GB storage and 3GB RAM model, which is priced at Rs 24,999 (around $300), was made available in India. The other two models -- the 64GB internal memory and 3GB RAM model (2,299 Yuan), and 128GB storage and 4GB RAM variant (2,699 Yuan) – are yet to come to India.

The device device sports a 5.15-inch full HD screen with 1,920x1,080 pixel (428 ppi pixel density), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI v7.0 operating system, and houses a 3,000mAh with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It mounts a 16MP Sony IMX298 main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, OIS, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, 1/2.8" sensor size and 1.12 µm pixel size, and a 4MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3" sensor size and 2µm pixel size.

Xiaomi Mi Max

Measuring 6.44-inch (173.1x88.3x7.5 mm), it is Xiaomi's biggest mobile phone so far. It comes in three variants – one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650, 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM priced at Rs 14,999 (around $230), the other one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, 64GB internal memory and 3GB RAM with a price tag of Rs. 19,999 (around $260), and a third variant with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, 128GB inbuilt memory and 4GB RAM priced at 1999 Yuan (around $308 / Rs. 20,400).

The device features a fingerprint sensor, a 6.44-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (342 ppi pixel density), an MIUI 8 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, and storage expandable up to 200GB via microSD card. It also has a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash, a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, and a 4,850mAh battery.
