Superstars from WWE SmackDown Live will be in action in their final pay-per-view (PPV) of the calendar year on Sunday -- WWE TLC 2016 (Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016). A total of four championship belts are on the line in the PPV event.

Can AJ Styles, who made one of the grandest entrances in WWE in January, end the year on a high note and remain the WWE World Champion, as we enter 2017? That remains to be seen as the pro wrestling veteran goes up against Dean Ambrose, one of the most entertaining WWE superstars in the roster, in the main event of TLC.

The build-up to their fight has been nothing, but electric, with normal in-ring brawls moving over to the backstage and some real street fighting getting ensued. The stipulation, thus, of taking course to tables, ladders and chairs, during their fight on Sunday, doesn't come as a surprise.

In the co-main event, the Irish 'Lass Kicker' Becky Lynch takes on the 25-year-old Alexa Bliss for the WWE SmackDown Women's championship in a tables match. The stipulation means that the victor has to put her opponent through a table to lift the belt after the match.

In the other women's match of the evening, Nicki Bella will go against Carmella in a no disqualification match. Bray Wyatt, meanwhile, will team up with Randy Orton in an effort to hold the WWE SmackDown tag team championship, which is currently owned by the team of Rhyno and Heath Slater.

Also, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz will go into a title defence with Dolph Ziggler.
