"WWE 2K17," the upcoming professional video game from 2K Games, is likely to follow the success that was seen with "WWE 2K16," the last game from the franchise. "WWE 2K16" saw the biggest roster in WWE 2K's history, with over 150 playable wrestlers. This year too, the game might feature a big roster.

Though developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K have not released the complete roster list, it has been revealed that Brock Lesnar would be the cover star of the game with players who pre-order getting Goldberg as bonus playable character.

Moreover, it has also been revealed that the game features a NXT collector's edition. "WWE 2K17" is expected to be released on Oct. 11 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Here is the confirmed list of characters who will be part of the "WWE 2K17" roster:

  • Goldberg â€“ He will be part of pre-order bonus. There will be two versions of him — WCW and WWE.
  • Brock Lesnar â€“ Lesnar is the cover star of the game and hence naturally he is a playable character.
  • John Cena â€“ He was part of the mural drawn by artist Rob Schamberger at E3 2016.
  • Sasha Banks â€“ She was also part of the mural drawn by artist Rob Schamberger at E3 2016.
  • Ultimate Warrior â€“ The WWE legend was confirmed during the final E3 reveal.
  • Apollo Crews â€“ He was revealed to be in the game as playable character in the newly announced NXT Edition.
  • Shinsuke Nakamura â€“ Nakamura was also revealed to be part of the NXT Edition of the game.
  • Nia Jax â€“ Jax too will be part of the game's NXT Edition.
  • The McMahon Family - All the three McMahons, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon will be part of the game, this is not surprising as they were in the roster in "WWE2K16" too.
  • Aiden English – He was playable character in the previous game too and is part of the tag team, The Vaudvillians.
  • Booker T – He was also part of the previous game.
  • Brian Pillman – Returns to the series.
  • Brie Bella – She is part of the Bella Twins and returns to the series.
  • Chris Jericho â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Diego â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Erick Rowan â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Fernando â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Heath Slater â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Jey Uso â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart – He is a member of The Hart Foundation.
  • Jimmy Uso â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Konnor- He is part of the tag team, The Ascension.
  • Larry Zbyszko â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Nikki Bella – She is the other half of Bella Twins.
  • R-Truth â€“ Returns to the series.
  • Simon Gotch – Is part of Vaudevillians.
  • Viktor â€“ He is part of The Ascension.
