You might have heard and read a lot about YU's upcoming Yutopia smartphone, mainly due to the tag of "the world's most powerful phone", but now it is time to make it official.

YU CEO Rahul Sharma on Tuesday announced on the company forum that it is giving final touches to the "most powerful phone on this planet". It can thus be a big hint that Yu Yutopia is nearing its launch.

"Has it happened to you ever that you have been transformed from your real life into this dream where everything is perfect. The impractical, idealistic world where nothing is impossible. Well, it's happening here and the state of YUTOPIA is no more a dream," Sharma wrote in a post on Tuesday.

YU has so far released four devices in the market -- Yureka, Yuphoria, Yureka Plus and the most recent Yunique. But these devices are mainly targeted towards budget or mid-range categories.

However, Yutopia will change that as it takes on itself to challenge the premium flagship devices in the market.

"We have been working very hard to come up with the most powerful phone on this planet, yes you heard it right THE MOST POWERFUL PHONE EVER, and boy, do we hit our target this time.....the answer is YESSSSSSSSSS! The Most Powerful Phone on this planet will be from YU for YOU and from India, making the YU clan the most POWERFUL in the World!" Sharma added. The latest announcement on the upcoming smartphone by YU is the first to confirm Yutopia. Not long ago, Sharma tweeted the successor to the "minion moster Yunique" is going to be a "Real Beast."

Based on the leaked rumours, Yutopia is said to feature 5.2-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB or 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and a 21-megapixel primary camera. There is a possibility that YU will release another variant of Yutopia with a Full HD display and 3GB RAM. We will know more as more details unfold in the coming days.
