
A dramatic rescue unfolded at a high-rise residential society in Greater Noida West after a young woman was pulled to safety while hanging from the outer edge of a balcony several floors above the ground. The incident, captured on video, has since gone viral on social media.
According to police, the incident took place at Aims Green Avenue Society in Greater Noida West, where the woman was seen standing on the narrow outer ledge of an 18th-floor apartment balcony after an argument with her live-in partner. Residents from nearby buildings watched in horror as they pleaded with her to climb back inside.
The viral video shows the man inside the apartment desperately trying to pull the woman to safety before she was eventually rescued. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police said the couple, identified as Garima and Mohit, both residents of Meerut, had allegedly been watching the reality show Lock Upp when they got into an argument over a scene in the programme. During the altercation, the woman climbed onto the outer side of the balcony railing, leading to the tense rescue.

After the video surfaced online, the Bisrakh police reached the society and questioned both individuals. Officials said the situation was brought under control and no law-and-order issue was reported. An inquiry has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident.
