Lucknow, June 06 (ANI): A woman was raped by some people over a land dispute in Gauriganj area in Amethi, said a senior police officer. Amrendra Sengar, Inspector General (IG, Law and Order) of Uttar Pradesh, said both the parties were brought to the police station for questioning. The police officer said that a case was registered against three persons, but no arrest had been made so far. On an average, 10 rapes are reported everyday in Uttar Pradesh according to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
