Microsoft has finally rolled out Windows 10 Mobile OTA (over-the-air) update to its devices from Lumia series -- Lumia 640 -- after months of wait. Other eligible Microsoft devices are also expected to receive it soon.

Lumia 640 bought from T-Mobile carrier in Poland have started receiving Windows 10 Mobile update, reported Wmpoweruser quoting T-Mobile Trendy report (not accessible at the time of filing this story). It went on to say that the update takes the device to Software number 02177.00000.15184.36002.

The software OTA update may come to some Lumia 640 handsets late as it will be rolled out in phases. The update is currently available only in Poland, but carriers from other countries too may release it soon.

Microsoft has released Windows 10 Mobile update only to Lumia 640 in Poland at the moment, but it is expected to be extended to other Lumia models in the days to come.

The software giant and smartphone maker had earlier revealed that Windows 10 Mobile would be first rolled out to Lumia 430, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 735, Lumia 830 and Lumia 930 before releasing to other devices.
