It was reported that Microsoft might not release the Windows 10 Mobile monthly updates to its devices Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 550, which are running the software, but latest reports have suggested the company is indeed planning to release the updates and might do so very soon.

Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586.71 has already made it to Microsoft's update servers, and will be released on 2 February, reported VMPowerUser citing information provided by Microsoft. The monthly update will fix bugs and security, and may even come with new features.

The report went on to say the update, which is part of the TH2 stream, is for non-insiders and might solve issues like stability and battery life.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is yet to roll out the Windows 10 Mobile update to its devices, though it was supposed to happen in December. French mobile phone and internet service provider Bouygues Telecom has now said, in reply to a query posted by a Twitter user by the name Joel Devaux, that the software update will not come until the end of February.

Microsoft had earlier confirmed that the Windows 10 Mobile update sould initially be rolled out to devices like Lumia 430, Lumia 930, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 830, Lumia 540, Lumia 735, Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. It also confirmed that all Windows 8.0-based phones would receive the software.
