Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan might be seeking his contemporary, Salman Khan's presence in his upcoming film "Happy New Year."

Shah Rukh is reportedly planning a star studded special song on the lines of the "Om Shanti Om."  Farah and Shah Rukh's title song in "Om Shanti Om" (2007) with Bollywood celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Karishma Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee, Suneil Shetty, Tabu, and Salman Khan among others, became quite hit at that point.

The duo is planning a similar act for their upcoming film "Happy New Year" reported Bollywood Life. No doubt that the entire industry would associate with the song, but the bigger question is if Salman Khan will be a part of the song, given the love-hate relation the two superstars share.

Salman and Shah Rukh may have hugged it out earlier this year presenting a friendly gesture, but the superstars continue to be indifferent towards each other.

Salman recently revealed on "Koffee with Karan" that Shah Rukh and he were not 'good friends' as before but he certainly cared for the actor and would not let anyone foul mouth him in his presence. The "Dabanng" star said that the feud between the two could have been solved long ago, but added that he held no grudges against Shahrukh and surprisingly praised him as an actor.

With Salman's humility and his well known graciousness towards friends, it seems quite plausible that the superstar might give his consent on being a part of the song. But the bigger question is, will Shah Rukh get over his ego and approach Salman to be a part of "Happy New Year?" Only time will tell.
