New Delhi, Oct 30 (ANI): Five Indian fishermen have reportedly been given death penalty in Sri Lanka. MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said on Thursday that Indian government feels the fishermen are innocent and a legal process will be followed by Indian government through the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka to appeal against this judgement. He added that the government is hopeful of a positive outcome.
