Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daredi" has taken the Indian film industry by surprise with its successful run at the box office.

The film is smashing records at the overseas markets, besides its fantastic business at the Indian box office. "Attarintiki Daredi" has earned over ₹32 crore in its first weekend at the worldwide box office. It is obvious that there is huge demand to snap the remake rights for the film in other languages.

Latest buzz we hear is that "Attarintiki Daredi" might get remade in Tamil with a leading star in Pawan Kalyan's role. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, "Attarintiki Daredi" is about a guy who is on a mission to unite his aunt with his grandfather. The family entertainer has won accolades from all quarters, thanks to Pawan Kalyan's impressive performance. It has Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Pranitha Subash, Nadiya, MS Narayana, Brahmanandam and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles. Bollywood actor Boman Irani has made his Telugu debut in the film.

In the past, several hit Telugu films have been remade in Tamil. For instance, Mahesh Babu's "Okkadu" ("Gilli") and Pokkiri" (same name in Tamil) and Ravi Teja's "Vikramarkudu" ("Siruthai") have been remade in Tamil with popular actors in the lead and they have all been commercially successful.

Now that "Attarintiki Daredi" is performing well at the box office, it is no surprise that the film's makers are being approached to acquire the remake rights. It remains to be seen as to who will snap the remake rights and which actor will get an opportunity to step into Pawan Kalyan's shoes
