Bollywood couples rarely accept their relationship in public. They go into constant denial mode and surprise everyone after secretly getting engaged or married. Just how Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma surprised everyone when they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy on December 11.
And just like Virushka, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are also one of the most talked about rumoured couples in Bollywood whose engagement or marraige rumours surface time and again.
Their love is quite evident from their never-ending PDAs whenever they are spotted on an intimate dinner date, long night rides or just while cruising along in the city.
Earlier, there were rumours that Deepika and Ranveer were planning to get married next year. It was also reported that Ranveer met Deepika's parents at a family gathering in the past which further added fuel to the fire.
Last year, the couple were spotted atteding a wedding in Sri Lanka where they were seen shaking a leg together on the dance floor.
Remember the time when Ranveer flew all the way to Canada to spend Valentine's Day last year with his ladylove Deepika who was then shooting for her Hollywood debut film xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Even her co-star Vin Diesel referred Ranveer as her boyfriend in an interview when the Hollywood star came to India to promote his film.
And like these, there have been many similar occurrences which kept giving fodder to the rumours of the couple getting married. Now, fter Virat-Anushka's wedding, it looks like Deepika and Ranveer might apparently be following their footsteps.
Recently in an interview, when she was asked what she likes best about Ranveer's company, Deepika said, "When we're with each other, we don't need anything or anyone else. We're comfortable in each other's presence. Sometimes it's intelligent conversation, sometimes just silence, sometimes there's a childlike innocence. We keep each other grounded. We are good in that sense."
Even Ranveer sent across a romantic message to his Mastani in a quirky video when Deepika was having a tete-a-tete with Shah Rukh Khan on his new talk show Baatein with Baadshah.
"Now what should I say about you? You have come into my life it like a shining ray of light and brightened it just the way you have lit the lives of thousands of your fans. My only wish to God is to always keep your life glowing like a star. There's nobody like you! God bless you and love you lots! (translated from Hindi)," Ranveer had said in the video.
After months of speculations, Virat and Anushka's wedding was no less than a fairytale. So can we expect Deepika and Ranveer to surprise us with their secret wedding?
