Wickedleak has announced the launch of a new octa-core smartphone in Indian market, Wammy Neo with a price tag of ₹11,990.
Wickedleak Wammy Neo, the latest entrant into the octa-core smartphone market is now up for pre-order on the company website and the delivery of the handset will commence starting from 15 June. Though Indian smartphone market is flooded with octa-core smartphones, it is worth taking a look at the latest Wickedleak offering as it has pretty cool features to offer for an affordable price tag.
Coming to the specifications of the Wammy Neo, it sports 5-inch IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution and is shipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Inside, the smartphone packs 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MTK6592 processor with a Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The handset offers 8GB of internal storage with expandable option upto 32 GB via microSD card and is backed by 2,200 mAh battery.
Talking of the image snapper, the smartphone houses 8.0-megapixel rear camera with flashlight and auto focus and a 2.0-megapixel front facing camera. The handset supports languages like English, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Deutsch, Espanol, French, Italiano, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Turkish, Russian, Bengali, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, India Urdu and Thai and comes with the connectivity options like WIFI, 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot support, Bluetooth 2.1, support WiFi direct and 3G.
The company also offers AquaProtect Water Resitant Technology (Optional) with the smartphone to safeguard the handset from accidental damages and the handset will be available in Black and White colour variants.
Earlier in March, the company launched Wammy Titan 3 Octa smartphone with a price tag of ₹14,990. The handset sports 5.7-inch IPS WXGA screen with 800×1280 pixels resolution with OGS lamination and Dragon Tail Glass coating. It comes powered by 1.7GHz MT6592 Octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
The smartphone houses 13.0-megapixel auto focus rear camera with 4096 x 3072 pixels resolution and 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera. The phablet packs 16GB built-in storage which can be further expandable upto 64 GB via micro SD card. On the connectivity front, the handset supports 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 and comes with 3,200 mAh battery.
