Renowned British actress Jacqueline Pearce passed away at the age of 74 at her residence in Lancashire. Pearce, who suffered from lung cancer, was known for her roles in BBC's sci-fi shows, Blake's 7 and Doctor Who.

John Ainsworth, a close from the Pearce, stayed by her side at the time of death. "She was outrageous, she was very honest and very straightforward, which didn't always go down very well, but you knew where you were with her," he said.

"She liked a glass of champagne and liked everyone to have a good time with her, and of course she was a brilliant actress and everyone who worked with her remembered her very fondly." He told that Jacqueline got to know about her cancer just a couple of weeks ago and she had requested to be taken care of at home.
