Aria and Ezra finally have what it takes to lead a happy life. The previous episode saw Aria accepting Ezra's proposal, something that has pleased a good number of Ezria fans. But because this is "Pretty Little Liars," it's safe to assume that no one will remain happy for long, and someone that could ruin Aria's happiness is Ezra's ex Nicole, who could return from the dead.

All we know about Nicole at this point is that she was kidnapped by revolutionaries in South America and that no one knows what exactly happened to her. But Ezra believes she's dead because he found out that several other humanitarians were killed by those who kidnapped Nicole.

Ezra became an alcoholic after Nicole's death until Aria entered the picture and the former lovers reconnected.

"Pretty Little Liars" hinted at Nicole's return in one of the previous episodes when Ezra receives a call from his ex-girlfriend. Aria saw the name "Nicole" on the caller ID, but when she answered all she could hear were the sounds of a busy street. Aria later deleted the call from the log to spare Ezra any pain that could come with bringing up Nicole's name.

The synopsis for "Original G'A'ngsters" reads: "Jason returns to town to stop Ali from getting too close to Mary. The girls learn something new about Mary and Mrs. DiLaurentis that leads them to a storm cellar full of clues. Ezra gets a call about someone in his past that could change his course. Noel Kahn grows more and more suspicious and rises to the top of the list of suspects for Uber A."
