With Ajith's "Veeram" and Vijay's "Jilla" gearing up for a release in January 2014, buzz surrounding the films' audio launch dates is doing the rounds in Kollywood film industry.
Veeram
Earlier, there were some reports claiming that the audio launch of "Veeram" will take place on 7 December, but it did not happen. However, much to the delight of fans, the makers of "Veeram" released a new teaser of the Ajith starrer on Thursday (5 December) night.
The small video has received good response from viewers. The teaser gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the film, which will be a mass entertainer that will satisfy Ajith fans. At the end of the video, a message confirming that the audio will be released soon appears.
However, it is not clear as to when exactly the audio launch will be happening. It is expected to take place in December, but the date is not yet known. There is also no clarity on whether the music launch will be a grand affair or the album will be hitting stores directly. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the songs for "Veeram."
Directed by "Siruthai" Siva, "Veeram" has Tamannah as the female lead, whereas Suhail, Bala, Vidarth and Munish don the role of Ajith's brothers. Santhanam, Nassar, Devadarshini and Vidhyulekha Ramana are among other cast members of the film.
The film has been confirmed to hit screens on 10 January 2014.
Jilla
Vijay's "Jilla" is getting ready to release during Pongal in January 2014. The film's shooting has wrapped up and the post-production work has begun in full swing.
Buzz is that the film's audio launch will take place on 15 December. According to a report in Behindwoods, there wouldn't any grand affair for the film's audio launch. The album will be directly released to the stores, with grand posters announcing the album's release across Tamil Nadu on the day of the event.
The film's music is composed by Imman. Two singing giants of Indian cinema - SP Balasubramaniam and Shankar Mahadevan - have crooned the opening song for the film. Vijay has teamed up with popular singer Shreya Ghoshal to sing a melodious number in "Jilla."
Directed by RT Nesan, "Jilla" has Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Malayalam actor Mohan Lal and yesteryear actress Poornima Bhagyraj have taken up pivotal roles in the film. The other cast members include Mahat Ragahvendra, Thambi Ramaiah, Soori, Sampath Raj and Ravi Mariya.
