Krushna Abhishek's "Comedy Nights Live," which replaced Kapil Sharma's "Comedy Nights with Kapil," recently invited Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol as celebrity guests on the show.

While the episode was entertaining, Colors TV channel didn't air a certain portion of the shoot where Dharmendra praised Kapil and his act, SpotboyE reports.

The veteran actor, who had been on Kapil's show several times, mentioned the popular stand-up comedian-actor on "Comedy Nights Live" and even went on to say that he missed Kapil and his team's act. The channel chopped out the portion as they believed that it was unfair to Krushna's team.

Surprisingly, the "Sholay" actor was unaware of the fact that Colors channel and Kapil had a fallout. He went to the show assuming that it was "Comedy Nights with Kapil" but soon realised that it had been replaced with another show.

"Dharmendra didn't even know that Kapil and Colors were no longer together. He went to the show, thinking that he is going to Comedy Nights With Kapil. It's only when he went on stage that he realised that Kapil is no longer a part of the show," a source close to the veteran actor told SpotboyE.

While Dharmendra congratulated Krushna and his team for the new show, the report stated that soon after returning home, the veteran actor called up Kapil and told him how much he missed him on the show.

In other news, Kapil, who received tremendous support from Bollywood after his show "Comedy Night with Kapil" went off air, is all set to entertain viewers with a new comedy show on Sony Entertainment Television.

Recently, Kapil and his team comprising Kiku Sharda, Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar shared some pictures on social media, which was apparently from the promo shoot of Kapil's new show.
