Shah Rukh Khan's 49th birthday bash was a starry affair as bigwigs of the Hindi film industry poured in to wish the charming birthday boy.

Organised by Gauri Khan, the party was reportedly attended by - Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya, Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai, Karan Johar, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah, Farah Khan, Boman Irani, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Malaika Arora Khan and Shilpa Shetty among others.

The inside pictures of the party, which began at 10 pm and went on till wee hours of the morning, did give the fans a glimpse of the kind of fun that they had at the actor's palatial residence Mannat. Interestingly, it is being reported that Bollywood beauties Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit relived their "Devdas" days and danced to "Dola re Dola" for SRK.

"It was very impromptu. SRK and others present at the party were very thrilled after watching Madhuri and Aishwarya dance together," Bollywood Life quoted a guest at the party. Hrithik Roshan, who was also present at the function, reportedly flaunted his dance moves and grooved to "Kaho Naa Pyar Hai" title song.

"Sood and Bachchan Jr are said to have danced to the 'Happy New Year' songs at the party with their co-stars joining them one after the other on the dance floor. The songs, especially 'Sharabi' and 'Nonsense ki Night', were played on a loop and composers, Shekhar Ravjiani and Vishal Dadlani, who had scored the music for the film, had to give the party a miss as they were in Bhopal for a concert," stated a Mid Day report.

However, the superstar has also celebrated the special day with his fans and media people. Like always, Shah Rukh unwrapped the gifts, cut cakes, waved out and danced for the admirers. "It's a great feeling. I feel I am not so good for the kind of love I get. I am a small person and the kind of love I get, I feel blessed. What more can I ask for myself! I only wish that everyone gets a life like Shah Rukh Khan," IANS quoted the actor as saying.
