To woo users, Social messenger app Whatsapp is purportedly bringing direct Facebook integration. Through this feature, Whatsapp users will be able to share Facebook posts to any whatsapp contact by a single touch.

Spotted by GeekTime, the feature will be made available with the upcoming update of Facebook Android app. The update will add a 'Send' button notified with the Whatsapp logo on the bottom panel. Once users open any Facebook post on Android app, they can share the post directly to any Whatsapp contact. Once clicked, the option will open Whatsapp contacts and groups stored in the smartphone.

Almost a year ago, Facebook acquired popular instant messenger app Whatsapp and since then, the two entities have been working together to enhance both the applications.

The report further mentions Facebook has been working on the feature and there is a probability that both these two popular social media applications might bring some deeper integration to allow users sending messages between Facebook messenger and Whatsapp.

Meanwhile, Whatsapp has declared to release its voice calling feature soon for the Windows Mobile and Tizen phone users. The feature has already been rolled out for its Android and iOS users. To get the feature activated, users are required to download the latest update from Google Play Store.

Whatsapp was acquired by Facebook for over $20 billion in February, 2014; it currently has an active user base of 700 million.
