There was a buzz that Shahid Kapoor's wife, Mira Rajput would make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming movie "AK vs SK", but the actor has said that these are just rumours.

At the recently held GQ event, Shahid was asked if Mira will actually enter the film industry with Vikramaditya Motwane's upcoming film and Shahid denied the same with a smart line.

"That is between me and Vikram, but she is not an actor, she is my wife," Pinkvilla quoted Shahid as saying. When reporters tried to dig out more from the "Shaandaar" actor, Shahid escaped by saying "no comments".

The upcoming movie "AKvs SK" will reportedly be based on the story of a boy and a girl who are rivals and the film's title refers to the initials of the two characters.

Apart from "AKvs SK", Shahid has a number of upcoming movies and the first to get released is "Shaandaar" starring Alia Bhatt. Directed by Vikas Bahl, "Shaandaar" is apparently the first ever destination-wedding Bollywood film and is slated to hit screens on 22 October.

Other upcoming movies of the actor are "Udta Punjab" and "Rangoon". While, "Shaandaar" is a fun-filled romantic film, "Udta Punjab" and "Rangoon" will have serious plots.

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, "Udta Punjab" features Shahid along with Alia and Kareena Kapoor; the film is based on drug abuse in Punjab.

On the other side, "Rangoon" will be directed by Vishal Bharadwaj and will feature Shahid, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut. The film is based on the backdrop of World War II.
