"Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart has apparently called it quits with rumoured girlfriend Soko, a French singer. Although the couple never confirmed dating rumours, early in March they were often spotted holding hands and kissing, confirming the existence of a romantic relationship.
We are yet to discern what went wrong between the couple, but tabloids have once again accused Stewart of being unfaithful to her partner. For instance, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the actress was flirting with Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell at the Met Gala, and the duo was supposedly spotted getting more than friendly at an after-party the same night. But the publication isn't sure if Stewart had called it quits with Soko at the time.
However, according to an Us Weekly source, there's nothing romantic going on between Stewart and Maxwell. "They absolutely did not hook up," the source said. "Stella has mutual friends with Kristen, and they just hung out a little at the party."
Meanwhile, a HollywoodLife source pointed out that meeting Robert Pattinson at the Met Gala was an eye-opener for Stewart. "Seeing Rob at the Met Gala helped Kristen come to terms with ending her relationship with Soko. She realized that she still hasn't found that deep connection with anyone since she was with Rob," an insider told HollywoodLife.
"He was like her soulmate and that's what she's looking for in a relationship. Hanging out with Rob, even for just a small amount of time, reminded her that what she's really yearning for is a soul bond. She's ok with holding out until she finds that kind of love."
Stewart's first high-profile romance was with her "Twilight" co-star Pattinson. They were together for close to four years before intimate photographs of Stewart with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders ruined her relationship with the British hunk.
