Fresh from the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy 2013 in England which India won, three nations - West Indies, India and Sri Lanka, will take on each other in the tri-series tournament to be held in the Caribbean.

West Indies Tri-series 2013 is a One Day International (ODI) tournament featuring West Indies, India and Sri Lanka. It will begin on 28 June and conclude on 11 July. Seven matches, including the final, will be played in Jamaica and Trinidad.

The Tri-series promises to be cracker of a contest with all the participating teams playing well in the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy. India and Sri Lanka entered the semi-final of the tournament, but West Indies missed by a whisker to South Africa on net run rate difference.

India will come into the contest as the favourite after having won the ICC Champions Trophy 2013. They defeated West Indies and Sri Lanka by eight wickets each in their meetings in the recently concluded tournament. However, the hosts and Sri Lankans are strong teams who can beat any team on their day.

The Tri-series will be broadcast live on Ten Cricket, Ten Sports and Ten HD channels.
