Kolkata/ New Delhi, Jan 03 (ANI): The women wing of CPI (M) staged protests in New Delhi demanding action on double gang-rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl in Kolkata. Members of All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA), shouted slogans against provincial government of West Bengal and chief minister Mamata Banerjee. The girl was allegedly gang-raped twice in October and after two months of torment she was murdered, which is confirmed by the police. AIDWA Chief Brinda Karat blamed the West Bengal government for negligence and inaction in the matter.
